On 14 July 2000, Vintage Heights Sdn.Bhd, a
property branch of the Hong Leong Group donated 100 acres
of land at the new township of Pantai Sepang Putra to New
Era College. The Agreement signing ceremony was witnessed
by the Minister of Housing and Local Government.
This is yet another example of the overwhelming support
by the community for the College.

This contribution by a corporate body to a community-run
higher education institution in Malaysia is unsurpassed in
its scale and significance. It is certainly the most exciting
development in the planning of the college to date.
The new campus will be in a developing centre blessed with
excellent facilities, a mere 20km from the Kuala Lumpur
International Airport and ideally sited by the sea. This
100 acre "University District' is part of a 7000 acre development
project by Vintage Heights.
New Era College Malaysia hopes to operate at this new campus in Sepang in the
year 2005 and in ten to fifteen years, develop a unique community-run multicultural
university nurturing carng, thinking and visionary professionals for the new
era. |
