BACKGROUND ON NEW ERA COLLEGE

New Era College is a non-profit-making college founded by the whole Chinese community of Malaysia. It is run by Dong Jiao Zong, the two major associations responsible for the Chinese schools of Malaysia. The Chinese education system in this country has a proud history of more than 180 years.

THE MANDARIN CENTRE, NEW ERA COLLEGE

The Mandarin Centre run by New Era College conducts Mandarin Classes for adults and school children. We have years of Mandarin teaching experience. Students can learn to speak Mandarin confidently in a matter of months under the training of our experienced teachers.

With China's rapidly growing economy and increasing international exchanges, the value of the Chinese language is rising constantly. Learning Mandarin is fast becoming an essential tool to communicate with people in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. It is also the key to enter an important and vast market in the world. More and more people both in business as well as in education recognize the need to know how to communicate clearly and effectively in Mandarin. It is widely acknowledged that the 21st century will be a millennium in which the Mandarin language will play a very significant role in international commerce and communication. Learning the Chinese language can lead to lifetime intellectual enrichment, Whether you are a student, housewife, pensioner, professional or business person, you can find the language training you or your staff need at the Continuing Education Centre, New Era College.

OUR MANDARIN COURSE

This course is designed for schools, colleges or corporations to train beginners to become proficient in Mandarin. We aim to develop your confidence and skill in using the Chinese language. Our course is specially designed to help you do this through three stages (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced). Each stage consists of 3 levels (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3), each level requires 15 lessons and 2 hours per lessons. On completion of the first stage, students will have learnt 2000 characters.

Course fee for one level is RM400.

Awarded to participant with accomplish each stage (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
