Certificate in Business Studies & IT

The Certificate in Business
Studies and IT is a one year programme that aims to equip post-secondary
students with an introduction to business-related and IT-related knowledge and
some basic concepts in these two area. It enables students to progress to our
Diploma in Business or IT. Students with at least 1 credit in Sijil Pelajaran
Malaysia (SPM) are eligible to apply for the course. Certified SPM forecast
results or certified Form Five trial examination results can be considered for
the January intake. The course is conducted over 3 semesters.
Upon successful completion of
this course, students can enter the following Diploma courses if they have met the
entry requirements:
1. Diploma in Business Administration
2. Diploma in Accounting
3. Diploma in E-commerce
4. Diploma In Web Development
5. Diploma In Systems Administration
6. Other diploma course(s)
Extra admission
conditional:
SPM at least have 1
credit and applicant must attend and pass the interview.

The Certificate in Humanities and Social Sciences is a one year programme that prepares SPM holders for the first year of the diploma courses offered at New Era College. This course equips post-secondary students with an introduction to the humanities, especially related to Chinese studies, mass communication and drama & visuals. Students with at least 1 credit pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) are eligible to apply for this course. Certified SPM forecast results or certified Form Five trial examination results can be considered for the January intake.
Upon successful completion of this course with the relevant academic requirement can enter the following diploma courses conducted at New Era College:
1. Diploma in Media Studies
2. Diploma in Drama & Visuals
3. Diploma in Visual Art
4. Diploma in Visual Communication
5. Diploma in Interior Architecture
6. Diploma in Fashion & Textile Design
7. Other diploma course(s)
