Course Introduction:

This is a first and second-year degree level programme which addresses the need for competent computer professionals with leadership abilities and sound judgment. It provides students with applicable IT knowledge as well as enhances their competency.

The objective of this course is to prepare students for a career in Information Technology or to further their studies abroad or locally in any of our partner universities. Students are trained for practical work in computing and information processing. Their role is seen as ensuring the strategic employment of information resources essential for an organization in a rapidly changing environment.

Career Prospects:
Graduates in Information Technology are in great demand in many companies. They can look forward to becoming system analysts, programmers, MIS executive, IT executives, software engineers, IT consultants, network engineers, IT specialists and software designers.
