Course Introduction:
This is a three-year higher
diploma level programme. It provides pathways that enable students to complete
their degree from our partner universities in one to two years. This course
provides a distinctive combination of skills and experience of both Chinese and
Western visual art. Students learn drawing, oil painting, Chinese ink painting,
Chinese calligraphy, seal engraving, print making, basic sculpture, ceramics,
illustration, etc. Students are trained to explore, experiment and develop
creative approaches to various art techniques and theories for application or
research.

Career Prospects:
Prepares students for a
career in art education, art administration, art promotion, gallery management,
illustration, art consultancy, visual presentation, art material promoter or
demonstrator, curator ship or becoming professional artists.
