Scholarships and loans

Scholarships, loans and special financial assistance are offered to students with good academic performance but come from poor families. These resources are donated by social organisations and concerned individuals. As such, students who receive any financial assistance are expected to be more proactive and show more readiness in contributing to the College and the community. For instance, they can assist the College’s student recruitment programme or participate in voluntary services, etc.

Applications can be made before the students enter the College. In the event of any unforeseeable financial problems after gaining entry into the College, students can also apply for “emergency loans” of up to RM2,000.

The College also offers scholarships and loans for further studies in overseas countries. Application procedures will be announced at the end of each year. Students may also make early enquiries at the Student Affairs Department.

Other social organisations such as Lee Foundation and Chin Mooi Foundation also offer scholarships, loans and financial assistance. Students may ask for recommendation from the College if necessary.
