毕业生大学贷学金

奖学金和免息贷学金
据学术表现与经济需要，本院特设三百份各类奖学金，以落实本院对促进国民团结
及多元文化主义的承诺。

1. 学优生奖学金（学、杂、住宿费全免）
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩获至少8科A等；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少10科A等（其中至少6科 1A）；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少3科A等及1科C 等。

2. 保送生奖学金（学费全免）
- 凡独中高三成绩列同组全级前5名、学年成绩总平均达至少65分，且高中统考文凭（UEC）
  成绩经本院审核达各科系学士课程（2+2）、大学基础课程或文凭课程录取标准者；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少8科A等（其中至少5科1A）；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少2科A等及2科C等；
- 由学校校长推荐。

3. 新生奖学金
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩获至少5科B3 / 5 科积分12分或以下；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少3科B等；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，按成绩可获以下奖学金：-
7A或以上 = 第1年学费全免
6A = RM5000
5A = RM4000
4A = RM3000
3A = RM2000

4. 多元文化奖学金（学费全免）
- 凡非华裔马来西亚公民；
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩经本院审核达各系录取标准者；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少5科C等；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少2科及格；
- 由学校校长推荐。

5. 东马学生保留奖学金（学费全免）
- 限沙巴或砂拉越州学生；
- 由沙巴或砂拉越州董联会推荐；
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩获至少5科B3；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少5科1A；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少3科B等。

6. 媒体奖学金（学费全免）
- 与本院签署协议的媒体机构属下职员；
- 由媒体机构推荐并符合中国语言文学系或媒体研究系学士课程（2+2）及文凭课程入学标准
  者。

7. 免息贷学金（全贷或半贷免息贷学金。全贷数额每年马币5千，半贷马币2千5百）
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩获至少5科积分20分或以下；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少4科A等；
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少2科B等。

8. 特殊才能奖学金（学费全免）
- 具备特殊才能的学生如表演、艺术、运动等；
- 凡高中统考文凭（UEC）成绩经本院审核达各系录取标准者；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少5科C等。
- 凡大马高级教育文凭（STPM）或同等资格文凭，获至少2科及格。
- 由学校校长推荐。

9. 紧急援助贷款
凡在籍学生有经济困难，一时不能解决而需紧急援助者可提出申请。每人每年只能申请一次，还清后可再提出申请。每次贷款额最高为马币2千。

10. 外奖贷学金
本院可协助学生申请有关单位提供的奖、贷、助学金，如：拿督周瑞标教育基金、马六甲泉州开元慈儿院福利委员会助学金、吉隆坡仙四师爷庙奖学金、李氏基金、八打灵狮子会慈善基金、隆雪中华工商总会贷学金等。

11. 毕业生大学贷学金
供持有本院毕业文凭且获得国外大学录取修读学士课程者申请。
- 品学兼优/有领导能力和表现/有理想抱负者；
- 贷款额为马币1万至2万。

12. 国外姐妹校奖学金
本院国外姐妹院校提供数十份各类奖学金保留名额予本院毕业生。

13. PTPTN 国家高等教育基金
- 成绩经本院审核达各系录取标准者；
- 凡大马教育文凭（SPM）获至少3科优等（国语必须及格）。

特别声明：
  • 凡申请学优生、保送生、新生、多元文化、东马学生保留及媒体奖学金者，只要文件齐全及符合上述申请标准，将在两周内公布申请结果，无需面试。
  • 除学业成绩外，课外活动表现及家境情况亦是考虑因素。
  • 以上申请者需品学兼优，提供家境清寒或有需要资助之证明文件。（新生奖学金申请者只需附上照片、身份证副本及成绩副本）
  • 受惠同学须参与“回馈服务”。

Scholarships and Interest-Free Loans
New Era College offers 300 scholarships of various categories based on merit, need and our commitment to national integration and multiculturalism.

1. Excellent Students Full Scholarships
Full scholarships cover tuition fees, miscellaneous fees and hostel fees are available to:
- UEC or UEC/V holders with at least 8 As.
- SPM holders with at least 10 As (including 6 1As).
- STPM holders with at least 3As & 1C.

2. School-sponsored Students Scholarships
Full scholarships covering tuition fees are available to:
- Top five students in the school, with an average of at least 65% in their senior 3
  assessment and who have obtained an offer in any of our degree program (2+2),
  foundation or diploma courses.
- SPM holders with at least 8As (including 5 1As).
- STPM holders with at least 2As & 2Cs.
- Recommendation from the school principal.

3. New Students Scholarships
- UEC or UEC/V holders with at least 5 B3s or total credits within 12 aggregate points for the
  best 5 subjects.
- STPM holders with at least 3 Bs.
- SPM or equivalent qualification :-
7As or above = full scholarships for 1st year tuition fees
6As = RM 5,000
5As = RM 4,000
4As = RM 3,000
3As = RM 2,000

4. Multi-cultural Scholarships
Full scholarships covering tuition fees are available to:
- Non-Chinese Malaysian citizens.
- UEC holders who have obtained an offer in any of our courses.
- SPM holders with at least 5 credits.
- STPM holders with at least 2 passes.
- Recommendation from the school principal.

5. East Malaysian Students Scholarships
Full scholarships covering tuition fees are available to:
- Sarawak or Sabah students.
- Recommended by the Sarawak/Sabah United Association of Private Chinese Secondary
  School Management Board.
- UEC or UEC/V holders with at least 5 B3s.
- SPM holders with at least 5 1As.
- STPM holders with at least 3 Bs.

6. Media Scholarships
Full scholarships covering tuition fees are available to:
- Staff of our partner media corporations
- Those recommended by media corporations and have obtained an offer in our degree
  program (2+2) or diploma course in Chinese studies or Media Studies.

7. Interest-free Loans
Interest-free full loans amounting to RM 5,000 per year or half loans of RM 2,500 per year are available to:
- UEC or UEC/V holders with total credits within 20 aggregate points for the best 5 subjects.
- SPM holders with at least 4 As
- STPM holders with at least 2 Bs

8. Special Talent Scholarships
Full scholarships covering tuition fees are available to:
- Talented students in performing arts, sports, etc…
- UEC holders who have obtained an offer in any of our courses.
- SPM holders with at least 5 credits.
- STPM holders with at least 2 passes.
- Recommendation from the school principal.

9. Emergency Loans
Students with unforeseen financial problems during the course of their studies are eligible to apply for emergency loans. Each student can only apply once each year; reapplication is subject to full repayment of the previous loan. Maximum amount is RM 2,000.

10. Other Scholarships/Loans
Other categories of scholarships and loans specially awarded to New Era College students include the Datuk Chiew Swee Peow Chinese Education Trust Fund, Chuan Chiew Khye Guan Choo Je Eenh, Lee Foundation, PJ Lions Charity Foundation and others.

11. Further Studies Loans
Graduates of New Era College who have obtained admission into universities for further studies are entitled to apply for this loan. Conditions for applying:
- Graduates with excellent academic performance, leadership qualities and active in
  co-curricular activities.
- Total loan amounts from RM10,000 to RM20,000.

12. Partner Universities’ Scholarships
Our partner universities have allocated scholarships especially for our graduates.

13. PTPTN Loan
- Who have obtained an offer to pursue studies at New Era College.
- SPM holders with at least 3 credits (BM pass).

Note:

  • No interview is required for Excellent Students Full Scholarships, School-sponsored Students Scholarships, New Students Scholarships, Multi-cultural Scholarships, East Malaysian Students Scholarships and Media Scholarships. Students who meet the above criteria with all required supporting documents will be awarded with the scholarships. The results will be released within two weeks.
  • Performance in co-curricular activities is considered in qualification for awards.
  • Applicants are expected to possess excellent academic performance, of good character and to provide evidence to justify the need for the scholarships/loans. (For New Students Scholarships, applicants have to provide photo, copy of identity card and copy of certificate only).
  • All scholarships and loan beneficiaries are required to participate in the “College Service Programme”.
