DATUK KANG HUA KEONG National President, SME Association of Malaysia

Datuk Kang Hua Keong is the National President of the SME Association of Malaysia since 2015. He is also the director of SMB Solutions Management Sdn Bhd and SMB Connection Sdn Bhd, a couple of comapnies involved in ICT businesses and Consultancy services since 1992.
He launched the SME community services since he joined SME Association in 1998. With an approximate 20 years of experience in SME Community and a keen promoter of Malaysia’s SME sector, Kang has worked tirelessly to develop the SME landscape and encourage business owners to transform their business to keep up with global markets. He was a member of the Oversight Committee for Excise Duty under the Ministry of Finance, where he served to bridge the communication between SMEs and the authorities.
Amongst his current roles include,

• Director of the Human Resources Development Fund (since 2013),
• Chairman of the National Tax reform Road Show under SME Malaysia (since 2014),
• member of the Monitoring Committee for Tax Reform under the Ministry of Finance (since 2014),
• member of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health under the Ministry of Human Resource (since 2013 to 2017),
• member of the incubator program DRIVERS under the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (since 2013).
• Advisory Panel for Dong Jiao Zong Higher Learning Centre Bhd (2018 to 2020).
• Bank Negara FX monitor sub committee ( since 2016),
• Co chair for China Asean SME working council, (2016 to 2020),
• Vice President Malaysia Foshan Business Chamber (since 2017),
• Advisory for Fruits farmer Association of Malaysia (since 2016),
• Co Chair for SME Jakim working group on Halal products (since 2010)
