Course Introduction

The Department of Media Studies upholds the principles of "fairness, objectivity, and critical thinking" and is committed to nurturing professionals with "cross-media" capabilities. The program lays a solid foundation of four core competencies for students, ensuring that they can excel in both the workplace and further studies. In the face of challenges posed by digital media convergence and global development, media is no longer just a tool for communication but has evolved into a new platform that integrates content, connectivity, and cross-media interactions.

The curriculum combines theoretical and practical teaching methods, enabling students to acquire advanced media literacy, content creation skills, and cross-platform communication strategies. It prepares them to stand out in the complex and ever-changing media landscape, becoming "cross-media professionals" who meet the demands of the new era. Additionally, the program emphasizes the development of students' critical thinking and social responsibility, ensuring that they not only possess professional skills but also uphold fairness and social values within the media industry.
