Course Introduction
Effective visual communication requires a blend of different technical skills and intimate understanding of societal trends and human behaviour. This 2.5-year programme answers that demand with a comprehensive package focusing on design methods via problem-solving. The course covers the major areas of contemporary graphic design including typography, art illustration, advertising, animation and photography. The objective of this course is to train students to be effective and responsible graphic designers by working with each individual’s strengths. Students can expect to acquire broad skill-sets ranging from traditional graphics to new media processes for use in advertising, corporate identity systems, packaging, desktop publishing, web design, animation and commercial photography.

Career Prospects
Graduates of this course can chart their careers as graphic designers, web designers, computer-aided designers, set designers, animators, desktop publishing specialists, packaging designers, book and magazine designers, illustrators and commercial photographers. Diploma holders can also choose to continue their studies (Bachelor’s degree) with our partner universities, completing the programme in one to two years.
