Course Introduction

The Department of Media Studies upholds the principles of "fairness, objectivity, and critical thinking" as well as "care and dedication," with a commitment to cultivating "cross-media" professionals equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in communication. The program not only establishes a solid foundation of four core competencies for students but also emphasizes diversified thinking and a global perspective, enabling them to adapt flexibly to the rapidly changing media environment. With the advent of the new media era, the curriculum integrates cutting-edge digital technology and cross-media training, significantly enhancing students' practical abilities and competitiveness.

At the same time, the program places special emphasis on fostering students' sense of social responsibility and ethical standards, ensuring that they not only possess professional skills but also uphold fairness and social values in their future careers. Graduates from this department have demonstrated outstanding performance in fields such as broadcasting, television, newspapers, online media, and public relations and advertising, fully reflecting the practical value of the knowledge and skills they have acquired, and earning widespread recognition within the industry.
