Malaysian Journal of Chinese Studies, Volume 5, No.1, 2016

    The Malaysian Journal of Chinese Studies is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that provides a forum on the studies of the Chinese communities in the social sciences and humanities and published twice a year in June and December. Contributors are invited to submit original research based on empirical, theoretical and comparative studies to promote a better understanding of the Chinese and their societies.

     Manuscripts with a local or regional focus especially on East and Southeast Asia are welcome. Unpublished articles not exceeding 10,000 words, book reviews, and correspondence should be directed to Malaysian Journal of Chinese Studies, New Era College, Lot 5, Seksyen 10, Jalan Bukit, 43000 Kajang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia, or by e-mail to mjcs@newera.edu.my.

   The Editor and Editorial Board are responsible for the selection and editorial work of manuscripts. The views expressed in the articles are those of individual contributors.
