5月份学期宿舍申请 (NEUC)

致：学术课程学生

兹通知，根据注册处在4月23日发出有关返校事宜的通告，宿舍办公室从4月23日至5月5日，开放让2021年2月的新生及MCO-CMCO期间保留宿舍床位的宿舍生申请回来宿舍。

录取名单及入宿日期将会在5月10日公布。宿舍办公室也将于5月17日开始安排宿舍生办理入宿。

职场感染率居高，顾及全校师生安全，本校外出实习的学生一律不被允许申请回校住宿。

申请入宿者请注意以下防疫事项：

• 如果出现群聚感染，学校会依据卫生部的指示封锁宿舍或宿舍生必须进行检测。同时，每位回校的宿舍生在入住宿舍前都需要签署疫情期宿舍生入住同意书。
• 若出现感染群，在关校期间，顾及宿舍生的伙食，食堂照常运作，宿舍门禁时间如常 (6:00 am – 9:00pm)，不受影响的宿舍生仍旧可以自由出入。
• 校本部宿舍5楼宿舍成为隔离楼层，楼层分为左右男女隔离区。校外TKS宿舍隔离区会优先安排在TKS。
• 宿舍生一旦确诊，与其同房的学生，将立即转移到隔离楼层进行隔离。
• 二代接触的同学（尤其是室友），需自费前往学校附近的诊所进行检测。
• 隔离期间，隔离者的餐饮运送由学生事务处协调同事处理，而餐饮费用由学生承担之。

Hostel Application for May2021(NEUC)

Based on the notice issued by the Registrar’s Office (RO) this afternoon, NEUC students are allowed to return to University College on 31 May 2021. For students who are interested to stay in the hostel can start applying now.  

Please log into the Google form link https://forms.gle/KeWxvj7dTGa67aJL7 or scan the QR code starting from today onwards, 23 April – 5 May to apply for hostel. Once you have completed the application, you will receive the acknowledgement email notification from the Hostel Warden Office (HWO).  HWO will release the name list of the qualified students on 10 May. Students will be arranged to check into hostel by batches starting from 17 May onwards. Please take note that priority will be given to new students (February 2021 intake) and also those students who had reserved their rooms during the MCO-RMCO period.

Since the infection rates are higher at work places, all students who are undergoing their internship are not allowed to apply to stay in the hostel as a safety precaution for our campus community.

For students who are returning to stay in the hostel, please take note of the following matters:

• If any hostel student is tested  positive with Covid-19, the University College will abide the instruction from Ministry of Health to cordon off the hostel block or all hostel students are required to under go the Covid-19 test. All students who are checking into the hostel are required to sign the Hostel Pandemic Prevention Declaration Form.
• If the University is closed due to infection case, the cafeteria is still open as usual. Then, the campus/hostel gate is open from 6.00am until 9.00pm for the hostel students.
• The University College decided to convert the Mewah Hostel at Level 5 to be a quarantine floor for affected students. For students staying in Sentral Hostel, they will be arranged for quarantine at the Sentral Hostel.
• If any hostel student found positive with Covid-19 test, his/her roommates will be immediately relocate to the quarantine rooms.
• Student Affairs Department is responsible to arrange the daily meals for the students during the quarantine period and students are required to bear all the expenses.   
• Any students who have close/direct contact (2nd layer, especially roommates) with the infected students are required to under go the Covid-19 test at     the nearby clinic on their own expenses.
  

Kindly continue to pay attention to the latest notice(s) issue by RO/HWO from time totime on the resumption of class.
