2023年度住宿申请须知

致:全体宿舍生

以下为2023年住宿申请注意事项:

1. 2023年度宿舍床位开放予全体同学申请,惟原计今年底毕业却需于2023年重修者,或5月开课者请于2023开课前1个月,呈上公函提出申请,届时将视是否尚有床位而定

2. 申请者务必慎重考虑个人的住宿需要及经济状况,切勿随意提交申请。若成功获得录取却又无故放弃者,学生宿舍管理委员会有权取消申请者来年的申请资格。已缴付了宿舍费而需提早退宿者,可于住宿期限内提早办理退宿,但将会扣除两个月的宿舍费,其余退还。

3. 2023年住宿申请者可选择住宿期限如下:

学术课程期限
*2023年2月1日至2024年1月31日
*2023年2月1日至   9月30 日 (仅限应届毕业生)
*2023年2月1日至   4月30日(仅限应届毕业生

技职课程期限
*2023年3月1日至2024年2月28日
*2023年3月1日至   10月31日 (仅限应届毕业生)
*2023年3月1日至   6月30日(仅限应届毕业生)

5. 申请2023年住宿者须在20221114日至1125日办公时间内完成申请手续。有意申请者请打开链接网页 “https://forms.gle/aKejdkQ18X58GjWo7 ”,按照指示填写。

6. 所有申请者之筛选将依据2023年旧生住宿遴选办法作为标准。2023年旧生住宿遴选办法可在学生事务处公告区查阅。

7. 获得短学期(2-4月和2-5月2023年)住宿录取之同学,须在2022125日至1216日期间至财务处缴付住宿费,以预留2023年度之宿舍床位。逾时缴费者,将视为放弃处理。

8.  逾时缴费者若仍欲住宿,须呈上公函上诉,重新申请。

9.  宿舍床位由生活导师编配,不得另作要求。所有宿舍床位一经编配不得私自调房。学生宿舍管理委员会保有编配宿舍床位之最后决定权。

10. 续住录取结果将在2022122日公布

11. 如因提交之资料有缺漏或未符合要求而影响申请结果,本会一概不负责。

12. 住宿生须同意并遵守宿舍规则,若违反宿舍条规而被勒令退宿,将扣除剩余住宿费和抵押金。有关细则请查阅“学生宿舍管理规章”。

13. 如申请者对申请手续或程序有任何疑问,可亲临、致电或电邮学生事务处宿舍负责单位咨询,或浏览学生事务处网页。

Application ofAccommodation for Year 2023

To: All Hostelites

1.  The application of accommodation is open to all students who wish to stay in the Student Hostel for year 2023. For those students who are supposed to graduate by end of this year (2022), but need to repeat some subject(s) in next year, or starting a new semester in May 2023,you are advised to submit your application letter one month before the new semester. However, the approval for the extended stay depends on the availability of the hostel rooms.

2.  Please do carefully consider your accommodation needs and financial situation. Should a successful applicant withdraw for any reason, the Committee will not give priority consideration forthe future’s application, will deducted two months hostel fee.

3.  Options on accommodation periods for 2023 applicants are as follows:

*1 Feb 2023 to 31 Jan 2024
*1 Feb to 30 September 2023 (For students who are graduating in September)
*1 Feb to 30 April 2023 (For students who are graduating in April)

VocationalProgram:
*1 March 2023 to 28 February 2024
*1 March to 31 October 2023 (For students who are graduating in October)
*1 March to 30 June 2023 (For students who are graduating in June)

5.  The application is open from 14 to 25 November 2022.  Applicants are advised to complete allapplication procedures during Office Hours. For applicants who wish toextend their stay in the Student Hostel, please complete and submit your application online @ “ https://forms.gle/aKejdkQ18X58GjWo7 ”.

6.   All applications will be considered by theCommittee that based on the criteria outlined in the “Application to Renew the Accommodation for Year 2023”. You may check and read the said requirements on the website of Student Affairs Department.

7.  Successful applicants for accommodation from the period of February to April / February to May 2023 arerequired to pay full accommodation fee to the Finance Department from 5 to 16 December2022 to secure their places in the hostel. Failure to do so, it will result in cancellation of the hostel room reservation without any further notice.

8.  For students whose bed reservations havebeen cancelled due to failure to pay the full hostel fee before deadline areadvised to re-apply again, if you still wish to stay in the hostel.

9.  The room/bed will be assigned by the hostel warden. No student is allowed to exchange his/her room without the prior written permission from the hostel warden. The Committee reserves the right onthe allocation room/bed.

10.  List of successful applicants will be published on 2 December 2022.

11.  The Committee is not responsible for any incomplete applications that may affect the eligibility of accommodation application.

12.  All hostelites must comply with the rules and regulations of the Student Hostel. Hostelites who have committed serious offences will be ordered to move out, the hostel fee paid and deposit will not be refunded. For details, please refer to the “Student Hostel Management Rules and Regulations”.

13.  Should you have any enquiries pertaining tothe application for extended stay in the Student Hostel, kindly contact the hostel warden or visit the website of the Student Affairs Department.
