5月份宿舍生缴费事宜 及 全国行动管制令期间宿舍费事宜
致：宿舍生
谨此通知，宿舍办公室将照常向现有的住宿生收取 5月分学期的宿舍费即6月至9月 (4个月 @ RM200 = RM800)。
与此同时，本校决定给予现有的宿舍生回扣宿舍费 (政府宣布3月18日起生效行动管制令期间，未办退宿但已回乡的住宿生)。
回扣详情如下：
回扣数额将在9月份的宿舍缴费单内列出。住宿生只需缴费回扣后的数额。所举例子如下表：
行动管制令结束后若决定进行居家网上学习的住宿生，请于管制令结束后1星期内到宿舍办公室完成退宿手续。本校将退还行动管制令期间所折扣的数额及5月份的宿舍费和宿舍抵押金。
若事后 (退宿后) 学生决定住宿舍，可再次电邮至student@newera.edu.my给宿舍办公室提出申请。申请成功后需缴宿舍费及宿舍抵押金方可入住宿舍。
3月份完成课程或期末学期的学生，若还未办退宿，请于行动管制令结束后联系宿舍办公室以办理退宿手续。
行动管制令结束后宿舍费将按正常价格收取。

Hostel Billing for all existing hostel students for May 2020 Semester & Hostel rental during Movement Control Order (MCO)
Dear All Hostel Students
Please be informed that for this coming May 2020 semester, the Hostel Warden Office will bill all the existing hostel students as usual, example the rental is from June till September 2020 (4 months @ RM200 = RM800.00).
In the same time, the Hostel Warden Office would like to inform all the hostel students that the University has decided to offer rental rebate to all existing hostel students (who have not check-out but had gone back hometown right after the implementation of the MCO by the government which is from 18 March 2020 onwards).
The rental rebate is as follows:

The amount of the rental rebate will be brought forward to September 2020 semester.This means when the studentscontinuing to stay in the hostel for September semester, the students will needto top up the rental accordingly. If the students decided not to continue to stay in the hostel right after the MCO is lifted but wish to stay at home for the online learning for the May 2020semester, students are given one week from the date that MCOis lifted to come back to University to complete the check-out procedures. Then, the University will refundthe amount of rental rebate during MCO and the amount of rental paid for May2020 semester and the hostel deposit as well.
However, if the student decided to come back to stay in thehostel at a later date, the students can apply to the Hostel Warden Office by email at student@newera.edu.my and then pay forthe rental and hostel deposit accordingly in order to check into the hostel. For those students who had finished their studies or final semester in March 2020,please keep in touch with theHostel Warden Office right after the MCO is lifted in order to complete thecheck-out procedure as soon as possible.
