Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various financial functions and to develop your skills in a professional setting. The ideal candidate will support the finance department with daily tasks and projects, gaining insight into financial management and corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Data Entry: Enter and maintain accurate financial records and data.
Budgeting: Support the budgeting process by gathering data and preparing reports.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist with processing invoices and payments, and managing accounts receivable.
Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Research: Conduct financial research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Projects: Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience: Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting is a plus, but not required.
