Role Summary

The Engineering Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for the Engineering Department, managing project schedules, technical documentation, material procurement, and team administrative tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring that machine assembly, maintenance, and onsite installations are completed efficiently and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Track engineering project timelines, schedules, and resource deployment for machine installations and servicing.
• Documentation Management: Maintain, organize, and update technical drawings, machine SOPs, component lists, and maintenance records.
• Procurement & Inventory: Liaise with suppliers to source spare parts and materials, issue purchase requisitions, and coordinate monthly stock counts.
• Cross-Department Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the Engineering, Sales, and Accounts departments to track project costs and client requirements.
• Client Communication: Handle inquiries regarding machine maintenance schedules, service updates, and follow-ups on technical assistance.
• Admin Support: Assist in managing the engineering team's daily workflows, service reports, and outstation travel arrangements.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics), Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Familiarity with basic project management tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
