The Public Relations Office is mainly responsible for the promotion of on-campus activities, and the communication with external institutions, associations, schools, media, and donors in order to assist NEUC establish and maintain the public relations and strengthen the NEUC's brand and good image. The PR Office is also in charge of the University's fundraising activities, donation processing operations, participation in the editing and distribution of the University's Xinguang Magazine. At the same time, we organised events such as cultural performances, annual carnivals, blood donation campaigns and press conferences and etc. In addition, we also collecting the newspaper clipping and online news related to NEUC.
In 2019, we launched several fund-raising activities with the assistance of enthusiastic parties to raise the Building & Development Fund of New Era University College Second Campus, such as The Fried Dough Stick Charity Sale on 23rd of February at Penang, The Grapefruit Charity Sale on 21st March at Merdeka Parade, The Noodle with Stuffed Tofu Charity Sale on 20th of April at Cheras, Fundraising Dinner organised by Chinese Associations in Kepong on 31st of May, 5 Charity Performances done by Tianjing Binghai Art Troupe in June and 20th Anniversary Charity Dinner Concert by Asia Musical Productions on 7th of November at Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, NEUC is also one of the beneficiaries of the World Presidential Blend Diplomacy Fundraising for Malaysia Chinese Education, and we were raising RM5 millions from this wonderful campaign. This campaign was organised by The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong), co-organised by World Presidential Hall of Fame and sponsored by Perfect (China) Co., Ltd.
In 2020, The PR Office is appointed as the Secretariat of The 6th Ng Teck Fong Chinese Language Teacher Excellent Award.
