About
Branding & Creative Department: Born with a Bang!
We launched in August 2023, fueled by wild ideas and stacked with design-copy buffs, we build New Era's brand with the DNA of youth, colour, and imagination.
Guided by the vision of "An Academia-Industry Research Campus", we build bridges between students and the working world, bringing school and society closer together. So strap in, because we're not just thinking outside the box — we're launching the whole thing into space.

Works
Flying High is Malaysia's first campus original music album fully funded by a university. Produced by Vice-Chancellor Mok Soon Chong and co-created by Liz Tung Lai See, Percy Phang, and Tey Shi Bin, the project brought together over 100 students who wrote, performed, filmed, and designed the entire album themselves.
More than just an album, it's a creative stage for students to unleash their ideas, apply their talents, and gain real-world experience — a runway for their dreams to take off.
Graduation is more than a formal ceremony — it's a joyful celebration of youth and new beginnings. In 2021, New Era launched The Grad Fiesta – Cheers to Adulthood, and by 2024, it officially bloomed into a full-fledged brand experience — Grad Fiesta. From themed concepts and visual design to interactive installations, every detail is crafted with heartfelt wishes for our graduates.
From podcasts to campus interviews, we share student voices and fresh perspectives with fun, creative content. Our social platforms bring New Era's vibrant campus life straight to your screen.
More than just delivering messages — our ads showcase New Era's personality. From course promos to brand visuals, we turn ideas into memorable stories, full of warmth, soul, and creativity.
Unique courses deserve unique ideas. From literature and geography to picture book creation, we craft custom visuals and campaigns that turn learning into a fun, meaningful, and everyday experience. Here, "class" is more than a classroom — it's a new way to see the world.

Carrying on the spirit of Nantah, New Era continues writing the next chapter of Chinese education at Menara Nantah. From festive gatherings and fundraising banquets to cultural events, we take part in every visual design, branding effort, and creative copy. Every brick and beam becomes part of a heartfelt story—told through the language of design.

Nantah Commonspace serves as the base for the Branding and Creative Department and the University-Enterprise Collaboration & Professional Development Training Department. It also houses the Cultural & Sports Centre and a Digital Reading Zone, creating a dynamic space that brings together reading, multimedia, sports, leisure, and training — all in one.
