INTRODUCTION

The Department of Drama and Visuals aims to cultivate theatre and film professionals with a strong foundation in humanistic aesthetics, emphasizing both theatre and film equally. The curriculum emphasizes practical learning, enabling students to not only acquire knowledge and skills but also enhance creativity and foster communication and expression abilities through hands-on courses. The department actively establishes connections with professional theatre practitioners and filmmakers both domestically and internationally to broaden students' perspectives and thinking. Graduates can pursue various careers, including directors, screenwriters, actors, production management, and roles in film and new media, providing them with extensive employment opportunities.


OBJECTIVES

  1. To nurture talent for local theatre, film, and video production.
  2. To utilize elements of drama and visuals to raise community awareness and appreciation for art and humanity.
