Every commercial organization must have the support of Finance and Accounting department. Without it, the organization is unlikely to do well. Hence, the market demand for graduates of finance and accounting will always remain strong, regardless of economic conditions.
In NEUC, we produce ethical and business-minded graduates with sound technical knowledge and necessary soft skills. We do not merely train students to score high marks to become bean counters of cold figures.
As of now, we offer two programs namely, the Bachelor of Finance & Accounting and the Diploma in Accounting.
Though NEUC was only recently newly upgraded to University College, we have about 20 years of experience in producing graduates in finance and accounting. From the 1990s of twinning partnership with the Victoria University of Wellington and later, the 3+0 partnership with the University of Gloucestershire, UK, we have the experience and expertise to award NEUC’s home-grown finance and accounting degree programmes.
In 2017, our Bachelor of Finance & Accounting was granted the maximum exemption of papers possible under the internationally recognized accounting professional bodies of ACCA and CPA Australia. This is testimony to our quality and standard, and this certainly benefits our graduates.
We are now in the process of developing more finance and accounting-related degree programmes. This will give more options to our potential students.

I landed a job at HSBC Securities Services (HSS) right after my final exam, before the convocation ceremony.
A year after that, I received an offer to further my studies at the University of Kent, UK which I gladly accepted. It was a 1 year postgraduate programme in MSc Finance, Investment & Risk. The experience in Kent was short but memorable.
