Course Introduction

The Master of Arts, Design, and Creative Media program provides an interdisciplinary platform for artists, designers, and media practitioners to enhance their creative and theoretical skills. It equips students to explore contemporary art and design in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

With a focus on both traditional and modern media, the curriculum promotes creative experimentation, collaboration, and research. Students develop a professional portfolio through hands-on work, seminars, and individual research, applying innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

The program fosters creativity, innovation, and critical reflection, preparing graduates to excel in the creative industries, academia, and beyond.

Minimum Entry Requirement
  • A Bachelor’s Degree [Level 6, Malaysia Qualifications Framework (MQF)] or equivalent with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 in the relevant field, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate;

    OR

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent with CGPA of less than 2.50 in the relevant field and a minimum of five (5) years working experience in the related field;

    OR

  • Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government;

    AND

Pass an interview or submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required.
