Abstract:
The preparation of a proper research proposal is often seen as an intimidating and confusing task for candidates who are planning to embark on their postgraduate studies. This initial stumbling block sometimes hampers candidates’ interest altogether in the PhD/masters journey. However, this need not be so at New Era College; by sharing experience with others the fear of the unknown can be eliminated. This sharing session is intended to help colleagues who are keen in embarking on postgraduate studies or research with research proposal preparation. The session will cover a) What is a research proposal? b)Why it is needed? and c) What are the elements of a research proposal?
